Simple potato sandwich and omelette :)



Simple bread omelette is the one dish that everyone makes when they are damn hungry.... Basically it's the last dish which u can make when you feel hungry, next option is to order or eat out :p

So here's simple recipie of my twist on bread omelette which becomes much more filling and tasty. This is also a simple potato sandwich with omelette on the side. Potato is same as the potato made for samosas, aloo bonda etc.

Ingredients for 2 portions:
1. 2 potatoes boiled and mashed
2. Green chillies chopped 
3. Bread 6 slices makes 3 sandwiches
4. Eggs 4 nos
5. Coriander leaves
6. Spices such as salt to taste, chilli to taste, black pepper, turmeric, coriander powder, mustard seeds 
7. Cheese optional
8. Onion chopped for omelettes 

Process ;

Very simple and easy to make, merely takes 10 mins.

1. Take a pan, put some oil, throw in one t-spoon of mustard seeds, green chillies chopped, and let it sizzle.
2. Add in all spices such as turmeric coriander powder, chillie powder..... I add these first as if u add them later they taste really raw with mashed potatoes. 
3. Now add in the mashed potatoes and salt to taste, mix thoroughly and it's ready.
4. Take the bread slices, put the potato masala in one slice as needed and close it with other bread slice. Now toast it on a sandwich maker or a normal tawa with butter (tawa can be used to make omelettes later). Repeat this with other 2 sandwiches
5. Now as the sandwiches are ready now quickly take a small bowl put the chopped onion, green chillies, salt and egg and beat it ! put some oil and pour the beaten egg mixture, spread evenly and Turn upside down when cooked. 
6. That's it potato sandwich and omelette are ready now serve it with green chilly chutney or tomato sauce whatever u like.
